| Morris escaped on Jan 18 from my home in Bay Colony Pointe. Opinions differ on how to refer to his color, light/dilute orange, buff, cream can all be used to describe him. He is a shorthair, but longer hair than average, not medium, which sometimes forms a ridge along his back. He is very tall and long with a plump-looking plush light cream colored belly that would hang down a bit because he had been on a diet. He weighed 14 lbs when he escaped, possibly a Maine Coon mix. Morris had his claws. He doesn't have any loud distinguishing marks, his tabby markings were limited to his feet and tail mostly, with a predominately blonde back. He had golden eyes. He was laid back, friendly and a real lap cat when he escaped. He is almost perfectly behaved but he would chew on vinyl and clear plastic bags like makeup bags and shred cardboard and try to claw carpeted stairs. He was neutered. He refused to wear a collar. He is 7 or 8 years old but he doesn't appear as old as he is. If you have taken in a tabby lately that might be him, please call me for an ID mark I can't share with the public at large. My children grew up with this cat and miss him terribly. There will be a reward of $200 when he is returned and identified. |
